A few months ago, in London, a silver ring it was sold for 400,000 euros.

She would have been the same young woman to describe the jewel during the trial:a simple gilded silver band , with three crosses engraved on it and the inscription Jhesus Maria ” .
As for the reason why the jewel was in Great Britain, it is easy to say:after the execution of the Maid, her ring was taken into custody by the English cardinal Henry Beaufort, member of the ecclesiastical tribunal that had sentenced the woman.
A bargain for the buyer?
Certainly yes as regards the supposed historical value of the object in question, which however more than a few scholars question:according to this current of thought, in fact, the ring of Joan of Arc would be nothing more than a legend .
Who knows if it will ever come to a certain conclusion on the matter.
