Beer. The first Italian pub dates back to Ancient Rome
The beer boasts ancient origins, but also the first Italian “brewery” he is not joking, since it dates back to none other than 83 AD
The creator of this "pub" local was Gneo Giulio Agricola, who after having been governor of Britain for years, returned to Rome in the company of three expert brewers of Glevum (today Gloucester), place where the blonde drink par excellence had been a great success for a long time, and opened a local where it could be tasted in many different ways and at reasonable prices.
The differences with the current breweries were not so numerous nor particularly significant.
