Who were the enemies of King Harold First?

Harold I of England, also called Harold Harefoot, was the eldest son of Cnut the Great. When his father died in 1035, Harold inherited Denmark while his half-brother, Harthacnut, inherited Norway and England. Due to the unstable condition of the lands to be inherited by Harthacnut, he remained abroad and appointed Harold as regent of England.

Harold ruled successfully as regent until his death in 1040. Harthacnut took the throne after his death. Therefore, Harold did not have any lasting enemies.
