What is the meaning of position in military statues?

Attention (POS 1): Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointed forward. Your back should be straight, your shoulders should be back, and your head should be held high. Your arms should hang naturally at your sides.

Parade Rest (POS 2): Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, your knees slightly bent, and your toes pointed forward. Your hands should be clasped in front of you at the level of your waist. Your back should be straight and your head should be held high.

At Ease (POS 3): Stand with your feet apart, your knees slightly bent, and your toes pointed forward. Your hands can be held at your sides or in front of you. Your back should be straight and your head should be held high.

Rest (POS 4): Stand with your feet apart, your knees bent, and your body relaxed. Your hands can be held at your sides or in front of you. Your back can be slightly arched and your head can be lowered.

Sitting Position (POS 5): Sit upright on a chair with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Your back should be straight, your shoulders should be back, and your head should be held high. Your arms can be rested on your thighs or on the arms of the chair.

Kneeling Position (POS 6): Kneel on one knee with your other foot placed in front of you, heel down. Your back should be straight, your shoulders should be back, and your head should be held high. Your arms can be rested on your thighs or extended in front of you.

Prone Position (POS 7): Lie down on your stomach with your arms extended in front of you and your palms facing down. Your legs should be straight and your feet should be pointed back. Your head should be turned to one side.
