Ryksa Elizabeth
Queen of Bohemia and Poland, the only daughter of Przemysł II and wife of Wenceslaus II of the Przemyślid dynasty. The marriage with her, concluded in 1303, strengthened Wacław's claims to Greater Poland and to the Polish throne, on which he had sat for three years. The relationship turned out to be short-lived. The ailing king of Bohemia and Poland died in 1305, leaving Ryksa to Elizabeth a lavish widow. In 1306, the queen married the new Czech ruler, Rudolf III Habsburg. He also died quickly, so that at the age of nineteen Piastówna was already a two-time widow.
In the following years, Ryksa Elżbieta it spoke out against Luxembourg's rule by associating with one of the opposition leaders, Henryk of Lipa. He was both her political and life partner, although due to the difference of states and dynastic reasons, they never got married. After Henry's death in 1329 Ryks she entered a monastery and then went on a pilgrimage to German monasteries. She died in 1335 at the age of 47.
