It is a cave in the Snake Mountains. which is a limestone mountain The area known as Khao Lat Kluay is about 470 meters west of the Hermit Cave. The cave is about 60 meters above the ground. The mouth of the cave is about 15 meters wide. about 20 meters high facing south west
Originally the cave floor was covered with bricks. but is currently being excavated throughout the area The floor was filled with rubble. In addition, cement stairs were made from the foot of the hill to the mouth of the cave. and pour the cement floor in front of the cave

East cave wall There is a low relief carving of the Buddha image. 2 The Buddha image in the Dvaravati period, with the image of a Buddha image sitting cross-legged. Pang preaching a sermon The outer body is only half left, similar in appearance to the first one. It is assumed that it was originally built in the Dvaravati period. ( Buddhist century 12-14) but later modified by covering with stucco in the Ayutthaya period ( Buddhist century 22-23) Sandstone Buddha images are also found. A lot of red in the Ayutthaya period.
Jean Boisselier There is an opinion that the left wall ( East side ) Originally decorated with a large sitting Buddha image. Later, it has been changed with new carvings and stucco molding in the Ayutthaya period as a sitting Buddha image sitting cross-legged. After this Buddha image is a Buddha image sitting cross-legged. Pang preaching the Dharma with the right hand which was further decorated in the Ayutthaya period as well ( Benjamas Sirirek and team 2533:12)
