History of Asia

Origin of the word Hindu not from Indus but from Indu?

According to imperialist and leftist historians, the word Hindu has originated from Indus and from that Hind and Hindustan have been formed. And this is because the people of Persia/Persia/Iran used to pronounce S. In this, by applying Ik suffix of Irani, a Hindi word was formed which means 'of Hind'. Unani Indika or European India etc. are derived from this Hindi word itself.

But the imperialist history is not credible due to the disregard of the glorious ancient civilization, culture, tradition and history of India and the Christian belief that the creation of the universe took place only before 4004 AD, due to its flaws. Leftist / Nehruvian historians and Western historians of India blindly follow this faulty history written by the British, so the history written by them is not reliable at all. Another drawback of the Indian leftist historians is that instead of researching the truth, they keep on surrounding the rote history by wrapping it in Islamic sugar syrup. The history written by them is not only faulty but also fake and concocted, hence they have completely lost their credibility. Let us know what different researched history says on the origin of the word Hind and Hindu.

Some historians consider the origin of the word Hindu and Hind from the ancient name of Bharatvarsha 'Indu' meaning moon. They believe that the word Hindu is derived from Indu (moon) and not from Sindhu. Europeans used to call Hindus as Indus and the country of Hindus was called Indiya (like the moon) Apabhransha India. Chinese traveler Huventsang has written, “India has many names. In ancient times India was called Shitu and Hinau but its correct pronunciation is Indu. I have a lot of respect for that name. The name of that country is Indu because the scholars of that country exposed the whole world like the moon with their cool, white light of knowledge. (The Travelogue of Huventsang, Translator Samuel Beale)

Himalayat Samarabhya Yavat Indu Sarovaram. Tan Devnidam Desam Hindustan Prachakshate॥”- (Jupiter Agam)

Meaning:Starting from the Himalayas till Indu Sarovar (Indian Ocean), this god-made country is called Hindustan.

Here also the word Indu is used for Hind. Therefore, it is clear from this and from Huantsang's description that India also had a name Indu and Indians used to pronounce the word Indu with great respect.

It also seems from Alberuni's text that the words Indus and Hindu are two different pronunciations. Alberuni has written that to go to Sindh from his region, one has to go through Himroj alias Sijisthan, but if one wants to reach Hind, then one has to go through Kabul. (Page 198, Volume 1, Al Baruni's India translated by Edward Sachau)

It is clear from the above that Indus and Hindu are two different words. Hindu has not been made from Sindhu, but an ancient name of India was Indu and the word Hindu is derived from Indu itself. The question is, was this word Indu originated from the moon or something else? And whether the word India is also derived from Indu itself? Let's find out.

Whether the word India is derived from Indu?

History researcher Narendra Piplani, who has written a book called Itihas ki Mrityu, believes that, “The origin of the word Hind is the Apabhramsa of Indra mentioned in the Vedas. The name Indica, given by the Greek Aryans, went into the Roman language and later this word became India in the English language of Britain.

Now the question is, why did the Greeks call India or Indians as 'Indaka' and why did the Iranians call 'Hind Ka'?

In fact, the name of Bharatvarsha predates the name Ind or Indu Bharat. Know a Vedic story which is the story of the ancient Aryans going to Iran. In fact, Giridhar Sharma Chaturvedi presents this story about the religious differences between the Indian and Iranian branches, which have been said to be the cause of migration till date,

“Starting from the 86th hymn of the tenth mandala of the Rigveda, a verse is indicated in the subsequent hymns. There was a person named Zarathustra, the brother-in-law of Rijrasva Rishi, his heart naturally had hatred towards the brahmins of that period. Zarathustra, coming from the tradition, rejected Indra's preference and established Varuna in his place. Its indication is found in the Nedra Devammansat Mantra of the Rikasamhita. Among the sages present, Nirimedha, Vamadeva, Gargya etc. took the side of Indra and Suparna, Kanva, Bharadwaj etc. took the side of Varuna and Vashishtha etc. respected both of them in their respective places. Therefore, the supporters of Varuna left for "India to Iran" under the leadership of Zarathustra. (Girdhar Sharma Chaturvedi, Vedic Science and Indian Culture, Patna and Indian Civilization in the Rigvedas, Yeotmal by P R Deshmukh)

If we analyze this story, then we get the basis of the words Hindika of Iran and Indaka of Greek and Indeya of Rome. In fact, the people going from India to Iran who were in favor of Varuna started calling India 'Indra's' i.e. those who believe in Indra. Later on, the word 'Indra's' became Indica, which remained as the name of a country in Greek, but due to the pronunciation of I in Iran, it became Hindka. Similarly, it goes to Roman / Latin language as Indae(r) means Indey or Inder and in German language Inder (Inder means Strong, People of India; Feminine Inderin means Indrani), in French Inde(r) means Inde or Inder and later In English became India and Indian.

Imperialist and leftist historians argue that the Iranians used to speak S only, hence they used to call Indus as Hindu and thus the words Hind, Hindu, Hindustan originated. The question is, when the Iranians did not speak at all, then why are there words in the names of the Iranian emperors like Cyrus, Darius-I, II, III etc.? The truth is that they used to call Indu a Hindu. In the sixth century BC, when the Iranians under the leadership of Cyrus occupied most of Central Asia, then the people of Central Asia who spoke India or Indians as Indu also later started speaking Hindu.

The name is always given by others. The name Indu is found in ancient Indian texts but Hindu is not found because Indians were called Hindus Irani and people of Central Asia. Later, when the Shakas, Kushans, Pahlavas and Hunas came to India from Iran and Central Asia, they used to call the eternally righteous Indians as Hindus and after coming here started calling themselves proud Hindus. Thus the prevalence of the word Hindu increased rapidly in India. When the Buddhists, Hindus, Parsis, Christians etc. of Central Asia were made Muslims by the Arab invaders on the strength of the Turkic sword, they also started attacking India by becoming Islamic Jihadis, forgetting their eternal rites. It is known that in ancient Arabic texts, the word 'Turkish Hindu' has been used for the Turks of Central Asia (PN ok) but when they were forcibly converted to Islam on the strength of the sword, then they too were Hindus, even if they were the eternal righteous Indians. Be it Buddhists or Jains, Kafirs started calling them Hindus and forcibly started making them Muslims.

In the Vedic period, the word 'Ind' became synonymous with the Suryavanshi Kshatriyas of India. Ind =in + de, in =sun, de =born from i.e. Suryaputra or Suryavanshi.

Now the question is, when the Indians themselves forgot the ancient name Indu or Ind of India, then how are the Europeans remembering these names till date?

The answer is, the first thing Indians were not forgotten, but due to the use of the word Bharat on a very large scale, the ancient name Indu or Ind started getting used less. Evidence is the description of Hiuantsang which says that India has many names Shitu, Hinau (Hindu?) and Indu. The second proof is Megasthenes who lived in India and wrote a book on India and Indians and named it Indica and not Bharat. But our leftist historians are addicted to slavery, so they try to find foreign sources in everything in India.

Secondly, what is the reason for the Europeans to remember India's name Indu or Ind, the answer is that most of the Europeans are people from India to Europe. Almost all historians agree with the view that people from Central Asia migrated to Europe from the Neolithic period or even earlier. All historians also agree with the view that before 2500 BC Central Asia, especially the Middle Vedic civilization, was the center of culture, from where a large part of Aryans came to India and a small part went to Europe.

In ancient times, Central Asia was known as Shaka Island. Various branches of the Shakas lived in Central Asia. The same doubts remain in the form of Slavs in Soviet Russia and in the form of Anglo-Saxons in Britain. I have already proved that the Sakas were the Suryavanshi Kshatriyas of India who were excommunicated from India by the Ichhavaku dynasty king Sagara for not following the Vedic rules properly, such details are found in the Puranas. In the Valmiki Ramayana also, a detailed description of this story is found in the debate between Kaikeyi and Sumant on this issue after the exile of Shri Ram. Even before these Indians would have been settling in Europe. They keep the memory of their motherland as 'Indra Ka' or Indu Desh.

Researcher Narendra Piplani writes, "All Europe and the Romans till date call themselves Indijan, which means 'son of the motherland'. If someone asks him what is the meaning of the word Indi or Indu? So they don't know the answer (because after becoming Christian they have destroyed the ancient history of their ancestors by calling them the Dark Ages)."

He further writes, “The words Inde (original place), Indigens (indigen) means motherland, Indae, Indu, Indigena (son of earth, born, native etc.), Inder etc. have been used by Europeans for themselves and Indica for India. The words (Indika), India (India), Inder (Inder) have been used.”

The primitive ancestors of Europeans who had gone to settle in places unknown to Indra country (India), used to remember India as Indra country, but after the origin of script, instead of 55 sounds of Sanskrit, only 22 or 26 of Europe. Due to the change in sounds, there was a change in the writing and pronunciation of Sanskrit words.

The most important thing is to remember India as Inder by the German people even today. I have already proved that most of the German people are descendants of demons. They still call their country as Deutschland (Dietsch Land) which is a corruption of the Sanskrit demonic place. They consider their primitive ancestors to be Diot / Diota. When the demon king Hiranyakashipu conquered the Indus region of India, across the Kaspian Sea (Trans Caspian region), when Hiranyapur was the joint capital of the demons and the demons, it is possible that the Asura people called India and the Indians as Indra, or people who believe in Indra. You may have started saying their country and you have been saying the same till today. Later they gradually moved to different parts of Europe. There were also many demons and demons among the gods of the Gallic people of the Gaul region (France, Spain, Portugal etc.) and the Celtic people of Europe. Words like Inder, Inderin (Indrine like Panditaine, Choudharine etc.), Indae(r), Inde(r) etc. point towards this.

Two things become clear from the above that the words Hindu, Hind and Hindustan have not been formed due to the pronunciation of S in place of Sindhu or Iranian. If the word Irani Hindika would have formed Greek Indika or English India, they would have called Sindhu Hindus not Indus. So the truth is contrary to the so-called truth of the Left. Therefore the word Hindu is definitely derived from Indu. Similarly, the European word Indu or Indra's depreciation became Indaka, Indeya, Inder, Inde and later in English India.
