Historical story

The origins of the Roman civilization

Rome is one of the rare cases in history in which the day of its foundation is known (April 21) but the year is not known.
There are many theories regarding the origins of Rome, both as regards the year of foundation and as regards the "ethnic" group to which it belongs.
According to tradition, Rome was founded in 753 BC. and this means that the monarchical age lasted about 250 years, which are definitely too many for the time, especially considering that there were only seven kings. According to other theories, much more likely, the foundation of Rome dates back to the second half of the seventh century, approximately between 635 and 600 BC, and this is much more probable.

As for the " ethnic origin "Instead, here the theories are among the most disparate, the most accredited and most accepted theory is that according to which Romolo, the mythical founder of the city, was of Latin origins , others argue that Romulus' origins are Sabine , according to other theses the origins of Romulus would be Etruscan and someone ventures to the hypothesis that Romulus was of Greek origins , and the interesting thing is that, each of these theories is supported by a different variant of the myth of the origins and founding of Rome, but, what is the truth behind Romulus' founding of Rome? What was the relationship between the Romans and the neighboring populations of Latin blood?
