Geological conditions

The condition of the ancient city was a sedimentary plain during the Holocene period.

Archaeological site number 16 (027) is located outside the city on the northeast side. Fine Arts Unit 5, Fine Arts Department excavated on December 2-25, 1966, presumably as a viharn in the Dvaravati period. From the excavations found a terracotta with an angel pattern, presumed to be the image of Lord Krishna Yok Khao Korarathana, Dvaravati art, similar to those found from U-Thong. Suphanburi Province Pieces of earthenware, earthenware pots and earthen jars

It looks like an ancient base made of laterite and brick. The plan is rectangular shape, 13.80 meters wide, 14.55 meters long, with laterite slabs on the east and north sides of the building. There is a brick ruin in the middle.
