General Condition

The archaeological site is located in the middle of Ban Prang community. Surrounded by ancient sites with people's houses On the south side of the community there is a small river flowing through which is a tributary of Lam Phra Ploeng and Lam Sai. The Mun River is about 6 kilometers east of the archaeological site.

The archaeological site looks like a mound that has not been excavated. It is about 2.5 meters high from the side road. Khmer castle fragments made of sandstone, laterite and brick are scattered on the mound. Some of them are carved into the upper parts of the castle.

Today, the archaeological site has not been excavated. mound There are traces that the base of the castle built with laterite The castle was built of bricks and sandstone. There is a sandstone door frame buried in the ground 1 piece. The collapsed top was left at Ban Bing Temple, Chokchai Subdistrict, Chokchai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The castle is around the 16th-17th Buddhist century, considering the patterns that appear around the area. The hill of the ancient site has traces of a pond surrounding it (Department of Fine Arts 2022), but is now much shallower. from setting up people's houses
