Who were julio-claudian rulers?

The Julio-Claudian dynasty refers to the first five Roman emperors, all of whom were related by blood or marriage to either Gaius Julius Caesar or his adopted heir, Gaius Octavius (later known as Augustus). The Julio-Claudian emperors were:

1. Augustus (27 BC - 14 AD)

2. Tiberius (14 AD - 37 AD)

3. Caligula (37 AD - 41 AD)

4. Claudius (41 AD - 54 AD)

5. Nero (54 AD - 68 AD)

These emperors ruled during a crucial period in Roman history, often referred to as the Roman Empire's "Early Imperial Period." During their reigns, the Roman Empire expanded its territories, consolidated its political power, and experienced significant cultural, economic, and political developments.
