What was usually the outcome when Alexander and darius third of Persia fought?

Alexander the Great usually emerged victorious in his battles against Darius III of Persia.

One of the most notable victories was the Battle of Gaugamela in 331 BCE, where Alexander's forces decisively defeated Darius' army, leading to the fall of the Achaemenid Empire.

Although Darius managed to escape the battle, he was later assassinated by his own satraps, Bessus and Nabarzanes, who sought the reward offered by Alexander.
