Ancient history

Where did the Arabians originally come from?

The Arabian people are indigenous to the Arabian Peninsula. The peninsula itself was first settled by humans more than 125,000 years ago, and some of the oldest evidence of human habitation in the region comes from Saudi Arabia. The Arabs are believed to have originated from a Semitic people who settled in the region around 3000 BCE. Over the centuries, they have mixed with other peoples, such as the Persians, the Greeks, and the Romans, and their culture and genetics have been influenced by these interactions.
