Did The Harappan civilization develope after the Sumerian and Egyptian civilizations appeared?

The Harappan Civilisation flourished between 2500 and 1900 BCE in the basins of the Indus River wherefore it is also known as the Indus Valley Civilisation. It was a very advanced civilisation for its time and had many similarities with both the Sumerian and Egyptian Civilisations, both of which flourished around the same time period. The origins of the Harappan Civilisation are not entirely clear, but evidence suggests that it developed independently and not in response to or as a result of contact with either the Sumerians or Egyptians.
