How many years passed between the destruction of first and second temples?

The destruction of the First Temple, also known as Solomon's Temple, is believed to have occurred in 586 BCE when the Neo-Babylonian Empire, led by King Nebuchadnezzar II, conquered the Kingdom of Judah and besieged Jerusalem. The destruction of the Second Temple took place in 70 CE when the Roman Empire, under the command of Emperor Titus, besieged and destroyed Jerusalem, including the Second Temple. Therefore, the time span between the destruction of the First Temple and the destruction of the Second Temple is approximately 656 years.
