How do medieval surfs dress differently than Medieval Kings and Queens?

Serfs were the lowest social class in the Middle Ages and as such, they had very limited resources and opportunities. Their clothing reflected their status and was typically made from simple, coarse materials such as wool or linen. Men wore tunics and leggings, while women wore dresses or kirtles. Both men and women wore cloaks or mantles to protect themselves from the cold.

In contrast, Kings and Queens wore luxurious clothing made from rich materials such as silk, velvet, and fur. They were often adorned with jewels, embroidery, and other embellishments. Men wore robes, capes, and tunics, while women wore gowns, mantles, and veils. Kings and Queens also had a wider variety of clothing options than serfs and could dress differently for different occasions.
