Ancient history

Where is the Inca empire today?

The Inca Empire was a pre-Columbian state that existed in South America from the 13th to the 16th century. The empire was centered in what is now Peru and included parts of what are now Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. The Inca Empire was conquered by the Spanish in the 16th century.

Today, the Inca Empire is no longer a political entity, but its legacy is still visible in the region. The Inca Empire left behind a rich cultural heritage, including architecture, art, music, and literature. Many Inca ruins can still be seen in Peru and other parts of South America. These ruins are a testament to the power and ingenuity of the Inca Empire.
