How did people live during paleolithic and mesolithic age?

Paleolithic Age

During the Paleolithic Age, which lasted from approximately 2.6 million years ago to 10,000 years ago, humans were hunter-gatherers. They lived in nomadic groups and moved from place to place in search of food. They hunted animals such as mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses, and saber-toothed cats. They also gathered plants, fruits, and nuts.

Paleolithic humans lived in caves, rock shelters, and other natural shelters. They made their tools from stone, wood, and bone. They used spears, bows and arrows, and clubs to hunt. They also made use of fire, which they used to cook food, keep warm, and protect themselves from predators.

Mesolithic Age

The Mesolithic Age lasted from approximately 10,000 years ago to 5,000 years ago. During this time, humans continued to live in nomadic groups and hunt and gather for food. However, they also began to develop new technologies, such as agriculture and pottery.

They domesticated animals such as cows, goats, and pigs. They also grew crops such as wheat, barley, and peas. They made pottery to store food and water. Mesolithic humans also built more permanent homes, such as houses made of wood and mud.

During the Paleolithic and Mesolithic Ages people lived lives that required constant change from the environment they grew accustomed to. They spent the majority of their days focused on survival by finding food, creating weaponry and keeping shelter. Eventually their living styles advanced due to advancements of tools and agricultural farming skills into larger societies of the Neolithic era
