What did the Incas house look like?

Incan Houses

- Were small, with only one or two rooms

- Made of stone or adobe bricks

- Roofs were thatched with straw or reeds and some times included wooden beams

- Floors were made of earth which became hard packed over time

- Often had a small niche or altar and a central area for building fires

- Windows were small and few, and the entrances were often low and arched
