Which was a cause for the disintegration of empire after his death?

Alexander's empire quickly fell apart after his death in 323 BC, due to a number of factors:

- Lack of a clear successor: Alexander did not name an heir, and there was no clear line of succession. This led to a power struggle among his generals, who each wanted to control parts of the empire.

- The size of the empire: Alexander's empire was vast, and it was difficult for a single person to control it effectively. The empire was divided into several smaller kingdoms, each ruled by a different general.

- The diversity of the empire: Alexander's empire included a wide variety of cultures and languages. This made it difficult to integrate the different regions into a single, cohesive state.

-Revolts by conquered peoples:Many of the people who had been conquered by Alexander's empire resented the Greek and Macedonian rule. They revolted against their new rulers and tried to restore their independence.

-Civil wars among Alexander's generals: After Alexander's death, his generals fought a series of civil wars to determine who would control the empire. These civil wars weakened the empire and made it vulnerable to attack from outside enemies.
