Did both the Romans and Aztecs practice Crucifixion?

The Romans practiced crucifixion as a form of capital punishment, while the Aztecs did not. Crucifixion involved tying or nailing a person to a wooden cross and leaving them to die. It was a slow and painful method of execution, often reserved for slaves, rebels, and other criminals. While the Aztecs had many forms of capital punishment, crucifixion was not one of them.
