Aeneas' death is never explicitly mentioned in Virgil's "Aeneid," or in any other classical texts. According to legend, Aeneas established the city of Lavinium in Italy and ruled there for three years before disappearing while fighting in a battle against the Rutulians. Some accounts suggest that he was taken up into heaven by Venus, his divine mother. Therefore, it is not possible to determine his age at the time of his death.
