How far did the pilgrims travel?

The Mayflower carried more than 100 passengers, who called themselves Pilgrims. They had left their homeland, England, to seek a new home in America, where they could freely practice their religion. The Mayflower left England in September 1620 and arrived in America on November 9 (November 19 by contemporary calendars). The Mayflower had sailed across the Atlantic Ocean for 66 days.
