Did Aztec or Mayas play ball game with a rubber ball?

Both Aztecs and Mayas played a ball game with a rubber ball. The ball game, known as Mesoamerican ballgame or ollamaliztli, was widely practiced in ancient Mesoamerica, including by the Aztecs and Mayas. The ball used in the game was made from solid rubber and was known as "ulli" in Nahuatl (the language of the Aztecs) and "k'uj" in Mayan. The rubber balls were often quite heavy and could weigh several kilograms.
