Why is the okefenokee swamp a destructive forces?

The Okefenokee swamp is not typically known for being a destructive force. In fact, it is considered a unique and valuable ecosystem that provides habitat for a diverse range of plants and animals. The swamp's nickname, "the Land of the Trembling Earth", refers to the sphagnum moss that covers much of the area and creates a spongy, bouncy surface. However, like any natural system, the Okefenokee swamp can experience natural disturbances such as wildfires and hurricanes, which can cause temporary changes to the ecosystem.
