Is Egyptian language used in other countries?

The Egyptian language, commonly known as Egyptian Arabic, is primarily spoken in Egypt and serves as the country's official language. It is mutually intelligible with other varieties of Arabic, such as Levantine Arabic, but contains distinct features in its pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.

While Egyptian Arabic is not widely used as an official language in other countries, there are significant Egyptian expatriate communities in various parts of the world, including the Middle East, Europe, North America, and Australia. These communities often maintain their language and cultural practices, including the use of Egyptian Arabic in social and cultural events.

Moreover, Egyptian media, including popular films, TV shows, and music, have gained significant popularity across the Arab world and beyond. As a result, some words, phrases, and expressions from Egyptian Arabic have been adopted by speakers of other Arabic dialects, contributing to the cultural influence of Egyptian language and popular culture in the region.
