What was the Crescent Formation used in Spanish Armada?

The Spanish Armada did not use a formation called the Crescent Formation. The Spanish Armada was a fleet of ships that was assembled by the Spanish Empire in the 16th century to invade England. The fleet was composed of a variety of ships, including galleons, galleys, and smaller vessels. The ships were arranged in a traditional formation known as the line of battle, which is a linear arrangement of ships that are positioned side by side and are designed to engage the enemy in a broadside-to-broadside exchange of gunfire. The Crescent Formation is not a known naval formation and was not used by the Spanish Armada.
