What is gregor mandel called?

Gregor Mendel is known as the "Father of Genetics." He is widely regarded as the founder of modern genetics for his groundbreaking work on inheritance in the mid-19th century. Mendel conducted extensive experiments with pea plants, observing and analyzing the transmission of specific traits across generations. Through his careful experiments and mathematical analysis, he formulated the fundamental principles of heredity, including the concepts of dominant and recessive characters and the law of segregation (Mendel's First Law) and the law of independent assortment (Mendel's Second Law). Mendel's discoveries laid the foundation for the field of genetics and profoundly influenced our understanding of the mechanisms behind biological inheritance.
