Did Edward Seymour take control of Edward?

Edward Seymour did take control of Edward during his childhood. After the death of Henry VIII, Edward Seymour became the Lord Protector of England for his nephew, King Edward VI, who was only nine years old at the time. Seymour used his position to consolidate power and influence in the kingdom. He also introduced a series of religious reforms, including the dissolution of the monasteries and the establishment of the Church of England.
