Dear teachers:we want to share with you the true meaning of Christmas. Today is Christmas Eve , a very positive denomination about which, many times, we stop thinking. Why can't we make that song lyric that says Every night is a good night come true? Everyday life, worries, work and difficulties distract us and make us think that only compliments, hugs and positive phrases can be offered at this time. However, this is not the case, it is just a matter of attitude and taking the time, however brief it may be, to look with different eyes at what we give thanks for every December 24:family, health, friendship, work. . And give us, beyond objects wrapped in colorful paper, smiles, greetings, respect and consideration for the other. In this note, a teacher tells us what Christmas Eve really means. .
The day for which we have worked so hard lately has arrived, that day of meeting, dinner, toasts and gifts, Christmas Eve has arrived and tonight is Christmas Eve . And as its name says, that is its main meaning:to have a night in which we can experience the goodness of the true Christmas celebration. Not from television or advertising but that Christmas of union, reconciliation, forgiveness, gratitude and generosity.
A night in which we can harmoniously combine our joy with the true meaning of this celebration:the birth of the Child Jesus , a humble child who despite having been able to have everything as a king was born in economic poverty but in the richness of the love of his parents, of those who surrounded him without distinction. Because that's what it's all about, opening our eyes and discovering that with a lot or with very little, if we share it then it's Christmas.
On this day we can all give a gift that costs us nothing:a smile, a hug, a handshake, a heartfelt thank you, a good wish. Those who can give more should be with love, with heart, not just buy something to buy, a gift says a lot about how much you know the person you give it to. In these times where gifts are exchanged with fees, usually high, think that after all it is only one thing.
We can also take a moment to reflect on what we have, not in material goods or money, but in life, health, family, friends, work, what It seems obvious and natural to us, but in reality it is the most valuable and what many people lack.
If you can say a family prayer before dinner, blessing everything you count on and asking that those who today suffer, are in danger, alone and dispossessed may also have it, you will be sending that wonderful vibration out into the universe to soothe those less fortunate.
And how nice it would be if every night was a good night, right? Nights of blessings, nobility and solidarity that keep alive the flame of peace that Christmas means, with gifts for the spirit that give our lives the harmony and stability that money cannot buy. Why not? Maybe we can make this Christmas Eve the first of the 365 that he gives us every year.
Happy Good Night, Merry Christmas!
