Taking the theory of the natural evolution of species postulated by Charles Darwin out of context and adapting it to the eugenics of Nazi ideology, we have the justification for the creation of Lebensborn (Fountain of Life) in 1935. Lebensborn was a company created by Heinrich Himmler with the aim of expanding the Aryan race to become the new race of Europe. Although initially his work focused almost exclusively on the wives of the members of the SS, considering them to be the purest, it was later extended to the entire German society to promote the birth rate of what was considered a superior race. For this, health care and all kinds of facilities were given to the homes of the pure; single mothers who met the canon (fair complexion, blue eyes, blonde hair, and tall) were provided with maternity homes and financial help to raise their children; Orphanages were run and Aryans were given up for adoption… and even children were kidnapped in occupied countries who, after rigorous examination, were certified as Aryan enough . An authentic program to populate Europe with Aryans . The company managed several facilities throughout Germany and even spread to several Central European countries, but where it had dramatic consequences was in Norway.
Logically, when the Norwegians fulfilled the canons established by the Aryan race, several facilities managed by this society were established in Norway. Some Norwegians volunteered for these types of programs, but most were deceived or raped. Children born to Norwegian mothers and German fathers were called Krigens Barn (war children). Before the end of the war, and from exile in London, the Norwegian Government began to manage hate …
The price these women will have to pay for the rest of their lives will be the contempt of all Norwegians.
When the Germans left Norway and the government returned from exile, they began their particular crusade regardless of each mother's circumstances:German whores - that's what these mothers were called - had their heads shaved and paraded to spit on them, forced to leave their jobs, many were arrested and interned in psychiatric hospitals... And the 8,000 children of the war? Norwegian doctors and psychiatrists took care of them…
These children carry the germ of typical German characteristics from which the world has already suffered enough.
And the government…
Believing that these children will become decent citizens is like believing that the rats in your basement will become your pets.
The Norwegian government tried to deport the children to Germany but the Allies forbade it, so many of them were removed from society and placed in mental institutions. Only after 50 years of struggle and after suffering the contempt of an entire society, the Government recognized that several children of the war had been subjected to harassment in society… but nothing more. To date, they continue to litigate in court.
There is hypocrisy at the heart of Norway, a country that prides itself on resolving conflicts around the world but refuses to acknowledge its own war victims. (Randi Spydevold , attorney for the Krigens Barn)
