One of the beliefs of the Nazi ideology was the superiority of the Aryan race, maintaining «racial hygiene » through eugenics (the improvement of human hereditary traits through various forms of intervention… such as elimination or sterilization).
This idea was not originally from the Nazis... but from the Swedes (that society that we have as a model but that also has its history ).
In 1922, the Swedish Parliament, the first country in the world, approved the creation of the National Institute for the Biology of Races to examine the anthropology of the Swedish people and establish a classification of the various races. Data, statistics and photographs of 100,000 Swedes were collected for this study. In 1926 the results were published in the book «Swedish Racial Studies » by Professor Herman Lundborg , Director of the institute. So far everything is correct.

The fact is that after the approval in 1934 of the sterilization law by the government of Per Albin Hansson , supported by all political parties, the study was used to "sanitize the race." From the approval of the law until its repeal in 1975, more than 60,000 people were sterilized because they were considered "deficient, imbecile, deviant and a burden on society ", and 4,500 were lobotomized by "undesirables «.
And the worst thing is that if we keep scratching we will find eugenics practices in countries like Norway, Austria, Switzerland... and Germany.
