* The Treaty of Trianon (1920) between the Allied Powers and Hungary confirmed the territorial losses that Hungary had suffered as a result of the Treaty of Saint-Germain. Hungary lost territory to Czechoslovakia, Romania, and Yugoslavia.
* The Treaty of Neuilly (1919) between the Allied Powers and Bulgaria confirmed the territorial losses that Bulgaria had suffered as a result of the Balkan Wars (1912-1913). Bulgaria lost territory to Greece, Romania, and Yugoslavia.
* The Treaty of Sèvres (1920) between the Allied Powers and the Ottoman Empire dismembered the Ottoman Empire and created the new states of Turkey, Armenia, Syria, Lebanon, and Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq). Turkey also lost territory to Greece and Italy.

* The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk (1918) between the Central Powers and Russia gave control of large areas of Russia to the Central Powers, including Poland, Ukraine, and the Baltic States.
* The Treaty of Versailles (1919) also contained provisions that affected Asia. Japan received control of Germany's Pacific islands north of the equator, including the Mariana Islands, the Caroline Islands, and the Marshall Islands.
* The Treaty of Saint-Germain (1919) also contained provisions that affected Asia. Italy received control of the Dodecanese Islands in the Aegean Sea.
* The Treaty of Trianon (1920) also contained provisions that affected Asia. Romania received control of Transylvania from Hungary.
The post-World War I treaties had a profound impact on the national borders of Europe and Asia. They created new states, changed the borders of existing states, and led to the displacement of millions of people. The treaties also laid the groundwork for the Second World War.
