Why the seperatists sail both ships?

In the Star Wars universe, the Separatist Alliance utilized various types of starships, including both large capital ships and smaller starfighters, to serve their military and operational needs. Here are a few reasons why the Separatists sailed both large ships and starfighters:

1. Command and Control: Large capital ships, such as battleships and command ships, functioned as the nerve centers of the Separatist fleet. They housed bridge facilities, communication arrays, and command structures that allowed Separatist leaders to coordinate attacks and oversee the overall strategic operations of their forces. These ships provided the tactical advantage of centralized command and control, enabling the Separatists to coordinate large-scale space battles.

2. Heavy Firepower and Defense: Capital ships were equipped with heavy weaponry and defensive systems, making them formidable opponents in space combat. They carried powerful turbolasers, ion cannons, and missile launchers, capable of inflicting significant damage on enemy vessels. Their thick armor plating and shield generators provided protection from enemy fire, ensuring their survivability in the heat of battle.

3. Carrier Capacity: Many capital ships, particularly those of larger sizes, functioned as carriers for smaller starfighters. They had hangars and launch bays that housed squadrons of starfighters, such as Vulture Droids and Tri-Fighters. This allowed the Separatists to launch coordinated attacks with a combination of capital ships and starfighters, providing flexibility in their combat strategies.

4. Rapid Deployment: Starfighters, such as the Vulture Droid, were small and agile, allowing for quick deployment and maneuverability in combat. They were often launched from capital ships or deployed from hidden bases, enabling the Separatists to launch surprise attacks or quickly respond to enemy movements.

5. Resource Optimization: The Separatists utilized both capital ships and starfighters based on the specific nature of the mission or engagement. Capital ships were crucial in full-scale battles or sieges, while starfighters were more suitable for reconnaissance, dogfights, or specialized tasks like destroying enemy starfighters or conducting hit-and-run attacks.

By utilizing both large capital ships and smaller starfighters, the Separatist Alliance sought to achieve a balanced and effective fleet capable of engaging in a variety of combat situations, from large-scale space battles to targeted strikes and hit-and-run maneuvers.
