History of Europe

What to effects did the conquest of Cortes and Pizarro have on US history?

While the conquests of Hernan Cortes in Mexico and Francisco Pizarro in Peru were significant events in world history, they did not directly affect the history of the United States. These conquests took place in the 16th century, long before the establishment of the United States as a nation.

The European exploration and colonization of the Americas, including the conquests of the Aztec and Inca empires, had profound impacts on the indigenous populations of the Americas and the development of European empires. However, the United States was not yet a part of this history until much later.

The first permanent English settlement in North America, Jamestown, was founded in 1607, over a century after the conquests of Cortes and Pizarro. The development of the United States as a nation began with the colonization and settlement of the eastern coast of North America by various European powers, primarily Britain.
