How did Albert Einstein help America?

During World War II, Albert Einstein was a key advisor to the US government on matters related to the Manhattan Project, the secret development of the atomic bomb. While Einstein himself did not directly participate in the design and construction of the bomb, his knowledge and expertise were highly valued by American scientists and military leaders.

However, Einstein's role was primarily as a scientific advisor and advocate, rather than an active participant in the technical development of the atomic bomb. Additionally, Einstein's pacifist beliefs conflicted with the destructive potential of the atomic bomb. Nevertheless, in light of the ongoing war and the potential threat posed by Nazi Germany, Einstein chose to lend his expertise to ensure that the United States maintained a technological advantage.
