When were the conventions of 1832 and 1833?

The conventions of 1832 and 1833 took place in Philadelphia. The 1832 convention, also known as the National Negro Convention, was held on September 15-20, 1832, and was the first national gathering of African Americans in the United States. The 1833 convention was held on June 4-12, 1833, and was attended by approximately 120 African American delegates from 11 states.
