What were the communist in Russia first called?

The communist in Russia were first called Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks were a faction of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP) that eventually seized power in the Russian Revolution of 1917. The Bolsheviks were led by Vladimir Lenin, who became the first leader of the Soviet Union. The Bolsheviks were eventually renamed the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU).
