How did the battle of Britain end or it?

The Battle of Britain did not end with a clear-cut victory for either side. Rather, it transitioned into a new phase of the air campaign known as "The Blitz." The Blitz was a series of sustained bombing raids by the German Luftwaffe on British cities, primarily London. The Blitz caused significant damage and civilian casualties but ultimately failed to achieve Germany's objectives of breaking British morale or forcing a surrender. The battle of Britain is generally considered to have ended with the defeat of the German Luftwaffe in the skies of Britain in the autumn of 1940. This marked a significant turning point in the war, as Germany's failure to establish air superiority over Britain made it impossible for them to launch a successful invasion of the country
