WHY were women allowed jobs in world war 2 when they them before 2?

It is inaccurate to state that women were not allowed jobs before World War 2. Women have participated in the workforce to varying degrees throughout history. Although traditional gender roles often confined women to domestic responsibilities, their contributions to the economy were notable in several sectors such as agriculture, domestic service, and various forms of skilled and unskilled labor. However, it is true that World War 2 marked a significant expansion in women's participation in traditionally male-dominated industries due to the large numbers of men involved in combat duty.
