How did many Americans try to escape the dust bowl in 1930s?

Many Americans tried to escape the Dust Bowl in the 1930s by migrating to other parts of the country. Some went to California, while others went to Oregon, Washington, and other Western states. Some even went to Canada or Mexico.

For those who could not relocate, or chose to stay, they had to adapt to the new harsh environment. To improve their lives, many farmers sought federal assistance, like relief programs and agricultural support policies, to help them withstand the challenges.
