History of South America

When did the slogan become popular?

The slogan is a condensed phrase that expresses a company's marketing position. It is often used in advertising campaigns to attract and engage consumers. Slogans started being used in the late 19th century, with many of the early examples from the US. These early slogans were mostly short and rhymed to enhance their memorability. One of the first recorded examples of a slogan was "I'd walk a mile for a Camel" used by Camel cigarettes in 1913.
