Is the battle of Alamo and fall same?

The Battle of the Alamo and the Fall of the Alamo are the same event. The Battle of the Alamo took place from February 23 to March 6, 1836, in San Antonio, Texas. It was a turning point in the Texas Revolution, as it allowed Sam Houston to gather reinforcements and eventually defeat the Mexican army.
