What did the Mojave Indians trade?

The Mojave Indians were traders who engaged in extensive trade networks with other Native American tribes throughout the Southwest and beyond. They were known for their skill in making pottery, which they traded for other goods such as food, clothing, and tools. The Mojave also traded in salt, which was collected from the nearby salt flats. Other items they traded included buffalo robes, turquoise, and shells.
