When did Christopher Columbus make his report on voyage to the Spanish monarchy?

Christopher Columbus wrote a report on his return to Spain from his first voyage to the Americas, which he called "The Letter to Luis de Santangel" or "The Letter of Columbus." He wrote it sometime in February or March 1493, shortly after he returned to Lisbon, Portugal, in March of the same year. The report was addressed to Luis de Santangel, the Spanish royal treasurer who had helped finance Columbus's voyage, and it detailed the events of his journey and the lands he had discovered.
