How does Inca overcome their environment?

Engineering: The Incas were skilled engineers who built impressive structures, such as Machu Picchu, that were able to withstand earthquakes and other natural disasters. They also built an extensive network of roads and bridges that allowed them to travel and trade throughout their empire.

Agriculture: The Incas developed a variety of agricultural techniques that allowed them to grow crops in harsh environments. They used terracing to create more arable land, and they developed irrigation systems to water their crops. They also domesticated a variety of plants, including potatoes, maize, and quinoa, that were well-suited to the Andean climate.

Textiles: The Incas were skilled weavers who produced beautiful and durable textiles. They used wool from llamas and alpacas, as well as cotton, to create clothing, blankets, and other items.

Social organization: The Incas had a highly organized society that allowed them to effectively manage their empire. They had a centralized government, a system of taxation, and a well-organized military. They also had a strong sense of community and cooperation, which helped them to overcome challenges.
