What was the last country to be explored?

There is no single "last country to be explored" as exploration is an ongoing process. However, Antarctica is often considered the last continent to be discovered and explored by humans. Its exploration began in the 19th century, with expeditions led by explorers such as James Cook, Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen, and James Weddell. Since then, various scientific research expeditions and international collaborations have contributed to the exploration and understanding of Antarctica's unique environment, geology, and ecosystems.
