How many displaced persons after World War 2?

The exact number of displaced persons after World War 2 is difficult to determine, but it is estimated that there were around 12 million people displaced from their homes in Europe alone. This number includes people who were forced to leave their homes due to the fighting, as well as those who were expelled or deported from their homes after the war. The largest groups of displaced persons were from Germany, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.
