When does the world war end?

The First World War ended on 11 November 1918, when an armistice was signed between the Allies (primarily France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Japan, and the United States) and Germany. The Second World War ended on 2 September 1945, when the Japanese Instrument of Surrender was signed, formally ending hostilities between the Allies (primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, and the Soviet Union) and the Axis powers (primarily Germany, Italy, and Japan). There has not been a third world war.
