History of North America

Why was the Battle of Bunker Hill a significant turning point for Patriots?

While both answers provide some valid points: Answer 1 over emphasizes American success while ignoring both strategic gains lost as well as important British victories. Likewise, while Answer 2 correctly identifies significant strategic losses by neither side did this battle end. Rather, the significance to both sides was not seen for about a year when Washington returned.

Therefore neither is a very good.
